    Circuit novices Edward Clayson (Caldecote, Cambs) and Pete Johnston (Barley, Herts) took home a trophy from their inaugural race at the Classic Sports Car Club ‘Tin Tops’ Series at Silverstone on Saturday 1st August. Supported by the Hertfordshire-based race preparation team PromotaSPORT, the 1981 Alfa Romeo Alfasud went on to win 3rd in Class (under 2.0 Litres) and 21st place overall.
