    Hertfordshire based PromotaSPORT scouped up three class prizes at the “6 Hours of Spa” meeting in Spa, Belgium in September, 2009. Racing two Lotus Cortinas in two races, they stormed in with 1st in Class for the 6-Hour Endurance race as well as 3rd over all for Touring Car Class. Over in the Top Hat All-Comers they snatched 4th in Class.

    Circuit novices Edward Clayson (Caldecote, Cambs) and Pete Johnston (Barley, Herts) took home a trophy from their inaugural race at the Classic Sports Car Club ‘Tin Tops’ Series at Silverstone on Saturday 1st August. Supported by the Hertfordshire-based race preparation team PromotaSPORT, the 1981 Alfa Romeo Alfasud went on to win 3rd in Class (under 2.0 Litres) and 21st place overall.

  • CAINE TAKES FIRST POLE POSITION FOR RARE ABARTH OSELLA PA1 AT SILVERSTONE CLASSIC

     

    Celebrations all-round in the Pit Lane of (Hertfordshire-based) PromotaSPORT last weekend as one of their two, incredibly rare, 1973 Abarth Osella PA1 prototype sports cars took pole position for the World Sports Car Masters Race , at Silverstone on Saturday 25th July, and the other went on to win 2nd in Class and 11th place overall.
