Short breaks company hotelshop is turning a disaster into a positive

[UKPRwire, Fri Aug 03 2007] Droitwich based short breaks company hotelshop has overcome terrible flooding at its High Street offices to turn the disaster into a positive for the business.

The award winning company is determined not to be beaten by the summer floods and is promising its customers that although it cannot operate now from the High Street, it is moving to new Droitwich offices and setting up new hi-tech telephone and IT systems.

'We have worked so hard over the last 8 years to build a successful business that we are not going to be dragged down by these floods,' resolves hotelshop's managing director Vivienne Hudson. 'This is a desperately difficult time for us, as for thousands of Worcestershire and Gloucestershire homes and businesses, but we are determined to find the good in the situation, stay positive and make sure that hotelshop bounces back bigger and better than ever!'

With the cost of flood damage at its High Street offices estimated at over 1million, the insurers have predicted 9-12 months to restore the site. Ms Hudson says that the company's decision to find brand new offices is the best move for the company. 'We are working hard to move quickly and seamlessly to continue service to customers with the minimum disruption possible,' she says.

Although currently in temporary offices we plan to move to our new premises by mid-August. Our new booking line for leisure customers is 08448 488 488 and for business customers 08449 499 499, all other telephone lines remain the same.
