National Homebuyers: 'Recession fears loom large for Brits'
Britons are panicked by the thought of recession and the financial difficulties associated.
[UKPRwire, Wed Mar 19 2008] That is according to new research by website Fool, which revealed that 20 per cent of Brits are filled with fear at the mention of recession.
A total of 31 per cent of respondents said that they believe a recession will last two years, while five per cent believe it will last indefinitely.
Any kind of recession will cause huge financial difficulties for many people in the UK and may also lead to a surge in people seeking a fast property sale.
David Kuo, head of personal finance at Fool, said that it is interesting to see how people feel about the looming recession.
"The term Credit Crunch has become a part of our everyday vocabulary over the past eight months, but it's instructive to see how people feel about a looming recession," he commented.
Quick house sale expert Julian Kings adds, "Property owners worried about losing significant amounts of value from their property should consider a quick property sale now.
"The market does not look like it will pick up hugely in the coming months and as such National Homebuyers is assisting many hundreds of people with either the quick sale or Sale and Rent Back of their property.
"Homeowners are right to be worried about falling property prices , but should also be aware that solutions exsist to assist them in maximising profit from their home".
Mr King is a director of National Homebuyers, the UK's leading quick property sale firm that guarantees to make an offer to purchase any property in the UK. The company is also a leading in the Sale (or Sell) and Rent Back field, where the homeowner can sell their property for cash and rent it back for an agreed period of time.
