More floods expected according to National Homebuyers
There are further warnings of severe weather this weekend, with the possibility of flooding leading many to seek a fast property sale.
[UKPRwire, Thu Jan 24 2008] A number of homes which were affected by last summer's floods have already been hit again this year and could be submerged once more in the coming days.
The Met Office has warned that 100 millimetres of rain could fall in some areas of the UK on Friday, Saturday and possibly Sunday.
Anyone living in a potential flood zone may now be considering securing a fast property sale in order to avoid future disasters.
"The weather over the next three days is certainly causing concern and we have a close working relationship with the Environment Agency in these situations," said Keith Groves from the Met Office.
"Although we are paying close attention to the rivers Wye, Dee and Severn we are continuing to closely monitor all rivers across England and Wales during this period of very wet weather," he continued.
Quick property sale expert Julian King comments, "Homesellers in areas liable to flooding should be aware that the introduction of the Hips Pack makes this clear to any potential buyer.
"We anticipate that the introduction of Hips will not only deter buyers but also give them the upper hand when negotiating a sale price".
Mr King is a director of the UK's leading quick house sale company, National Homebuyers. The organisation arranges the fast purchase of property across the UK and does not require the vendor to have a Hips Pack in place. The company is also market leading provider of Sell and Rent Back solutions.
