Calls for new home every 30mins say National Homebuyers
House prices could fall across Worcester, leading to a surge in people seeking a fast property sale.
[UKPRwire, Tue Jan 22 2008] It follows a claim by Liam Byrne, minister for the West Midlands, that a new home needs to be built every half an hour in the region for the next 20 years.
The comments will have angered homeowners in the region, many of whom may now look to secure a fast property sale in order to get the highest price for their properties.
"For many young people across the West Midlands, it's simply too hard to get on the housing ladder," Mr Byrne told Worcester News.
"We need to be building a home every half an hour for the next two decades - that's one of the biggest house-building programmes in British history.
"We want to make it possible for these people to stay within their own communities, instead of being forced to move away simply to buy a house," he continued.
Fast property sale expert Julian King adds, "Homeowners looking for quick access to cash should consider a Mortgage Rescue Scheme such as Sell and Rent Back.
"With Sell and Rent Back the homeowner is able to sell their property quickly, often avoiding bailiffs or repossession, but remain living in their home".
Mr King is a director of National Homebuyers, the UK's leading Sell and Rent Back provider. The company also arranges for immediate purchases of properties for vendors who need a quick house sale for whatever reason.
