Oman Launch for Job Search Engine

Careerjet's new service collects all job listings in the country

[UKPRwire, Tue Sep 16 2008] Job seekers in Oman will be next to receive the Careerjet treatment after the employment search engine announced, its new service for the Gulf state.

From September 2008, internet users looking for work in the Oman area will be able to access a database containing thousands of jobs, compiled using Careerjet's dedicated indexation system. The service will be provided in English and is free of charge for job seekers. It follows the launch of a similar service in Qatar earlier this year.

"This is an exciting time for job seekers in the Middle East," said Thomas Busch, Careerjet's co-founder. "Many international construction and finance companies are already based in Muscat and seeking employees to come join them.

"Careerjet's search engine will collect all these job offers and publish them in one place."

Oman is the latest addition to a network of more than fifty localised sites, which Careerjet operates on all six continents.

Careerjet has been working to simplify the process of internet job searching since 2002. The semantic analysis technology developed by its engineers allows the search engine to extract job advertisements from millions of pages worldwide.

The Careerjet brand, along with sister sites Option Carriere and Opcion Empleo, now appears in 57 countries and catalogues over 10 million job adverts every day.
