Mere PR, the award-winning North West public relations consultancy, today announced it has been appointed by Cash Generator, the UK’s leading buy, sell and loan store, to handle its national PR requirements over the next 12 months as the company is set to undergo an aggressive expansion plan.

Building on 15 years of experience handling a variety of retail clients, Mere PR is set to support Cash Generator’s national expansion plan and raise the company’s profile with a new target demographic, BC1s, as part of the company’s new positioning in the market.
Cash Generator recently underwent a management buyout and has announced plans to double the size of its network to 160 outlets within five years. With 10 stores opened so far in 2008, another six in the pipeline for this year, the company has set a target of 100 stores for 2009.
