New free website demystifies law for SMEs
Law Donut launched to provide quality legal information to small business owners and managers.
[UKPRwire, Wed Jul 15 2009] Knowing your legal rights and responsibilities is crucial in business, but unfortunately it’s something many small business owners and managers don’t get their heads around until it’s too late. That’s according to the publishers of Law Donut, a new online website that aims to demystify business law for SMEs.
“Subjects such as leases, contracts, terms of business, and disputes are bread and butter issues for small business owners and managers,” says Christoff Lewis, Head of Business Development at BHP Information Solutions. Unfortunately our research shows that many of them aren’t clear on these issues and are desperately in need of accessible, good quality information.”
Law Donut is a free online resource that is packed with information on common business legal issues. The site will offer over 1300 FAQs, 100 toolkits, and considerable video and audio content. The content is regularly updated with new material from recognised experts.
“We know the law can be complex and intimidating, but Law Donut will be different, says Christoff. “It’s all about practical, easy-to-following information that’s relevant for real business situations.
“Once you understand the issues you’re facing, you’re in a much better position to decide if you need to take professional advice.”
Law Donut is published by BHP Information Solutions, which already runs the successful Marketing Donut website providing practical sales and marking advice and resources to SMEs.
