“Recommended by BBC Radio London and Fluid Foundation”

[UKPRwire, Wed Feb 24 2010] Peacock Bar London (23rd February 2010) launches its new all day Sundays with Sunday Lunch and Afternoon Cream Tea, followed by “An Evening with Sinatra” starting February 28th 2010 from 12pm -12.30am at the award winning Peacock Bar with “David Martini”, our very own Sinatra, on stage from 8pm. Whether you are a bleary eyed group fighting off last night’s revels or a starry eyed couple this is the place to be Sundays. Advance booking is recommended. For more information see or email

The “Hollywood Romance ” theme
The venue - not to mentions staff - will all be dressed in 30s, 40s 50s attire so expect venetian masks, Marilyn Monroe films flickering on the walls and wonderful music from Frank Sinatra to Burt Bacharach (no house music or drum and bass here!) all afternoon. However please feel free to come in whatever you feel comfortable in and choose from lounging around in our 30s sofas to enjoying a Sunday roast at one of candelabra decorated tables. Not that hungry – why not choose from our bar menu or order afternoon cream tea. Or maybe choose from one of our selection of newspapers (including of course Hollywood Reporter and Variety) or board games.

“An Evening with Sinatra” Evening Shows
In the evening the pace hots up a tad musically and about 8pm ish expect two mesmerizing shows from our very own David Martini in the Sinatra / Dean Martin tradition

"David Martini" comes to us straight from performing in The Rat Pack as our very own Frank Sinatra absolutely oozing charm & sophistication. In fact this guy is so cool he is practically comatose.  Except for one  thing ........ ....he does so so love the ladies.  So don't be surprised when he walks into the crowd and comes back with a beautiful lady  to sing  a love song too.  Top notch singing and improv from cabaret's self proclaimed coolest cat.

After that our Dj will keep you entertained with the best tracks from the big band lounge era till carriages at 12.30am.

Oh and if there are any performers in the audience let us know and we will see if we can put you on stage too!

Fresh fruit smoothies and naughty 2 for 1 cocktails all night
In keeping with Hollywoods obsession with healthy living our mixologists have conjured up a bewildering range of smoothies from banana to strawberry from a very unHollywood £3. However in keeping with the naughty side of Hollywood we also have our delicious range of cocktails 2 for 1 all day /night as well.

Oh and our mixologists would be more than happy to take you behind the bar to show you how to make the cocktail of your choice for that special person in your life
