Cube3 help ‘improving’ Sports College achieve best-ever academic results
Two Trees Sports College in Denton, Greater Manchester were named as one of the top 100 most improved schools in the country and were praised by Ofsted, following an interactive marketing programme initiated by Cube3 Marketing.
[UKPRwire, Tue Mar 18 2008] Cube3 have been involved with the school in establishing and designing internal branding, literature, and the production of a termly newsletter written by students, with the aim of enhancing the learning environment and projecting the culture and core values of the school to pupils, parents, staff and governors.
Two Trees Sports College has since been praised by the Department for Children, Schools and Families and Ofsted for its improved performance. The Department for Children, Schools and Families listed the school as among the top 100 most improved schools in England earlier this year. While the latest Ofsted report published this month noted that the status of Two Trees Sports College had changed from ‘underachieving’ to ‘improving’, following increases in attainment at Key Stages 3 and 4, including the school’s best ever performance at Key Stage 4.
Also mentioned in the report were measures such as feedback questionnaires for pupils and parents, a student planner and school newsletter, which Cube3 helped to create. The agency is currently promoting work experience opportunities for pupils at Two Trees Sports College.
